What is a Home Inspection ?

A home inspection is a visual examination of the physical structure and systems of a home, from foundation to roof. A home inspector is trained to be a detective in regard to the construction and workings parts of homes.
Why do I need a home inspection?
A home purchase may be the largest investment of your life. Before you purchase the property you should learn as much as you can including what may need repaired.
If a home inspection reveals problems it does not necessarily mean you should not buy the house. The home inspection is meant to educate you in advance of the purchase of condition of the property.

* Gutters and downspouts.
* Skylights, chimney and other roof penetrations.
* Decks, steps, porches, walkways, and railings.
* Grade and drainage.
* Basement, foundation and crawlspace.

How much is an Inspection?
The cost of a Home Inspection is based on:
The square footage of the home.
The age of the home.
Also available at extra charge:
Radon inspection (Lab results 4-6 extra days)
Mold inspection (Lab results 3-5 extra days)
A contract must be signed and payment paid at the
time of the inspection by check or cash.
We will E-Mail you a detailed report along with a
summary report with photos of all concerns found
during the inspection by the end of the next day.
